Thinking of U Card
By Paris Dukes

Bright and fun, this card design is perfect for letting a friend know you care. It’s also quick and simple with cardstock punch-outs coming together to form the focal. Just punch them out, then use an emery board or sandpaper to smooth the edges, glue, and viola!

Card Inside

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place the card so the fold is at the top. Cover the card front with yellow words paper and trim the excess. Cut a 6 1/2” x 1” rectangle of green circles paper and glue even with the bottom edge of the card front. Punch out the border, large “U” and alphabet tiles and use the emery board or sandpaper to remove the paper nibs from the edges.
  2. Glue the punch-out border over the seam between the yellow words and green circles papers. Glue the large “U” on the right side of the card front, then add the alphabet tiles, gluing some on top of the “U”.
  3. For the card inside, cut a 1” x 5” strip of green circle paper and glue it down the center. Add the punch-out sentiment in the center.
