Trend Alert:  Blogging

Blogging is on the rise! And papercrafters are taking advantage of this medium to keep up with favorite teachers, learn new techniques and get the inside scoop on new products.

Hot Off The Press’ Sara Naumann is a teacher, designer and self-described “paper addict”—a description fellow papercrafters can identify with. That’s why so many click onto Sara’s Blog on www.paperwishes.com every Friday to find out what’s new in Sara’s world.

“It’s been great fun to connect with fellow papercrafters through blogging,” says Sara, who chronicles her experiences teaching, designing and discovering new papercrafting supplies on her weekly blog. “It’s so cool to meet with scrapbookers, retailers and industry people online—and then get a chance to meet and talk with them in person!”

Why start a blog in the first place? “I started my blog over a year ago, as a way to keep in touch with the scrapbookers and card makers I teach all over the world. I began when I was teaching in South Africa, and got such a great response from people I decided to keep it going. Now I can’t imagine my week without a blog posting!”
