Birthday Cake Card

Instructions:

  1. Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut out the cake shape and glue it to the card, aligning the left edge with the fold. Cover the inside of your card with the teal textured paper. Close your card and trim around the image, cutting through both layers of cardstock.
  2. Attach your desired numbers to the top of cake, gluing the bottom of the numbers to the back of the front flap. Adhere the “Here's to you turning” tag behind the numbers, on the left side. Foam tape the “Happy Birthday” frosting banner centered on the bottom tier of the cake. Foam tape one star near the numbers, two on the middle tier and three on the bottom tier.
  3. For the inside: Attach the greeting centered on the inside and accent it with more stars foam taped around the edge.
  4. Sign the “Whipped up just for you by…” label and glue to the back of your card. Use blank or extra artwork to decorate your envelope as desired.
