A tip from LeNae: Layering photos and journaling on top of traced swirls adds dimension to your layout. To do this, prepare your photos and journaling as you normally would, but simply set them on your page instead of gluing them in place. Once you've determined the placement of your elements, you can remove the elements one at a time to trace swirls underneath, then glue everything in place on top of the swirls. Before removing my elements, I find it helpful to lightly mark the edges or corners with a pencil. This way I don't lose track of their spot and I can better determine just how much of the swirl is going to be visible when I glue the element on top of it. Questions?
