Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Turn the background paper so the soccer balls and grass border are at the bottom. Mat a 5"x7" photo on white, leaving a 1/16" border. Mat again on black/white stars paper, leaving a 3/8" border. Mat again on green textured paper, leaving a 1/16" border. Ink the edges and glue even with the upper left corner of the page. Mat a 4"x6" photo on black, leaving a 1/16" border. Glue even with the right edge of the page, 5" from the top.
  2. Computer print journaling and team name or write by hand on white cardstock with the black pen. Trim large block to a rectangle and mat on black, leaving a 1/16" border. Glue journaling block beneath large matted photo. Trim the team name and mat on green, then black and set aside.
  3. Punch out stars, "GO!", "teammates" tab," tournament" and "Half Time". Cut or sand any nibs from the edges. Ink edges of "GO!" and glue to the upper right portion of the page, 5/8" from the top and 2 1/2" from the right side. Sand the edges of the green tabs and "tournament", then mat each on black leaving a thin border. Glue near photos as shown. Mat "half time" on black, and glue overlapping the right edge of the large matted photo. Glue the tem name below "GO!" and foam tape stars to the right as shown.
  4. Punch a white cardstock circle and attach the soccer ball brad buddy over the center. Attach to the page, below "GO!" Add star brads, cleat brad, tan mini brads and ribbon as shown.

Designer Tip: I created a cluster of words and embellishments in the upper right corner of the page, which helps to balance the large photo at the left. To quickly back the soccer ball brad buddy with white cardstock, I punched a circle and simply attached the brad buddy over the center, no trimming necessary!
