Fall's Confetti

Supplies:

Paper Pizazz® 8”x8” 4 Seasons Papers: Light brown with leaf border, brown plaid and orange textured papers plus alphabet tiles
teal mini brads
black pen
black ink pad
foam tape
glue stick

Instructions:

Place the light brown with leaf border paper with the border on the right. Mat a vertical photo on orange textured paper, trim the mat to 1/16" and ink the edges. Mat again on brown plaid paper, trim the mat to 1/8" and ink the edges. Glue the photo at an angle in the top left corner of the page, then add one teal mini brad to each corner.
Cut out alphabet tiles to spell “Falls Confetti” and two number tiles to represent the year. Attach the word “Falls” diagonally over the top left corner of the photo, overlapping letters and alternating attaching them with foam tape and glue for varied dimension. Use a black pen to add an apostrophe between the second “l” and the “s”. Use foam tape and glue to attach the “confetti” tiles under the photo and the year tiles to the right of the photo.
Journal the name on the background paper with a black pen, just left of the photo mat.

A tip from Shauna: When working with alphabet tiles, you can get different effects depending on what you use to attach them to your project. A basic glue stick is great, or you can create dimensional tiles by attaching them with foam tape. Try alternating between foam tape and glue stick for varied dimension! Another tip? Create movement and interest by attaching the tiles at varying angles and slightly overlapping each other. This will also save you the time and stress of trying to perfectly line up each and every tile!
