Snowflakes Tin By Susan Cobb
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cut a 5 1/2" square from the light blue snowflakes paper for the top of the tin, then round the corners with the punch and glue it in place.
- Cut two 2" wide strips of the dark blue snowflakes paper, to cover the sides. Wrap the strips around the box and glue in place. Cover the seams with pieces of the zig-zag border stickers included on the sheet. Add zig-zag border sticker to the two sides with no seams.
- For the 3-D snowflake center: Attach the stickers to the aqua or dark blue textured papers, alternating the sizes between the two colors. Cut around the edge of the sticker, so the paper shows through the open areas inside the stickers.
- Stack the stickers using foam tape, from largest to smallest--aligning the design with the previous sticker. Adhere to the center of the box top.
- Decorate the remainder of the tin with extra snowflake stickers in the center of the snowflakes on the background paper. Add part of the zig-zag border across the corners on the lid.
