Instructions:
For the Card Front:

  1. Mat the left edge of a 5" square of blue argyle paper on blue glimmer paper and trim the mat to 1/2". Mat the left edge again on blue paisley paper and trim to 1", then ink the edges of the whole piece. Add three blue brads evenly spaced down the blue glimmer strip.
  2. Punch a paisley out of the blue paisley paper using a 3/4" circle punch. Ink the edges of the circle, then glue it over a blue big brad. Layer a small blue silk flower on top of a large blue flower. Use the big brad to attach the layered flowers in the top right corner of the argyle paper.
  3. Place the blank card with the fold at the top and glue the papers over the card front.
  4. Journal “It's Your Birthday!” onto the aqua paisley tag, then glue the tag in the bottom left corner of the argyle paper. Tie a knot in a 2 1/2" length of blue grosgrain ribbon and use a Zot™ to attach the knot over the tag's tab.

For the Card Inside:

  1. Ink the edges of a 1 1/4"x5" strip of blue argyle paper, then glue the strip down the left side of the card inside.
  2. Computer journal “Let's Celebrate” onto the blue paisley tag and glue the tag overlapping the right edge of the argyle strip. Tie a knot in a 2 1/2" length of blue grosgrain ribbon and use a Zot™ to attach the knot over the tag, below the journaling.

Instructions:
For the Card Front:

  1. Place the card with the fold on the left. Cover the right side of the card front with lavender “mesh” paper and the left side with orange squares paper.
  2. Glue the quote overlay down the top of the orange paper, then use orange and lavender mini brads to attach the “birthday party” border overlay down the left side of the orange paper. Tie a knot in a 3 1/2" length of black grosgrain ribbon and use a Zot™ to attach it in the top left corner of the card front.
  3. Ink the outside edges of three slide mounts, then glue them at varying angles down the lavender paper. Glue the “time for cake”, “birthday” and “it's your birthday” overlays over the slide mounts, centering the circular portion over the circular slide mount windows. Use orange, teal and blue mini brads to attach a black turn mount next to each slide mount.

For the Card Inside:

  1. Cover the cards inside with lavender “mesh” paper. Mat the left edge of a 2 1/2"-wide piece of orange squares paper on black glimmer paper, trimming the mat to 1/16". Glue the strip down the right side of the card inside, trimming any excess even with the card edges.
  2. Mat the “laugh” overlay on lavender “mesh” paper, trimming the paper even with the edges of the overlay. Use an orange mini brad to attach the overlay over the left side of the orange paper. Use blue and teal mini brads to attach the “enjoy” and “presents” fragment overlays below the “laugh” overlay. Use a black pen to journal an “&” and “your” between the overlays to complete the phrase “laugh & enjoy your presents”.
  3. Cut out the gift package/balloon overlay, leaving a 1/16" border around the black square. Mat the overlay on white cardstock, trimming the cardstock even with the edges of the overlay. Glue the overlay at the bottom of the orange paper. Use a lavender mini brad to attach a turn mount to the right of the overlay.
