Weve all got them. Husbands, fathers, boyfriends, brothers. Uncles, nephews, male cousins and friends.
Men. They can be awfully toughto scrapbook.
It seems you can always find ideas for wedding pages, baby pages and birthday pages. But it can be awfully hard to find wonderful page ideas for the guys, so we turned to the scrapbook specialists for advice. How to scrapbook those "masculine" photos of the guys? They gave us some pretty terrific ideas!
The Bergstedt Boys
Vellum isn't just for pretty pages it's great on masculine pages also! Lisa wrinkled up a torn piece of vellum for this rough and tumble boy page. After flattening it, she tore small holes and chalked the edges. Notice how she picks up the gold in the background collage paper using gold brads and gold penwork on the vellum. These fabulous papers are from Paper Pizazz Masculine Collage.
Dad's Travels
Traveling can create wonderful memories. By tearing out pieces from the companion page to place by the photos, Lisa complements the old photos and ties the whole page together. Journaling and photo captions complete the story of thie long-ago foreign adventure. She chose these great papers from Paper Pizazz Masculine Collage.
What a Catch!
Lisa made this masculine page pop with black and white papers. She computer journaled the "ten things I love about Ketch" on white vellum, and then attached it to the left side of black stripe paper with eyelets. Black floss was threaded through the eyelets to create subtle texture and depth. Once again, great paper choices abound in Paper Pizazz Masculine Collage.
