Designer Tip: The shimmery mica powder really makes the words pop against the black cardstock.

  1. Cover the card with teal/red/purple/ivory collage paper and ink the edges black. Cut a 5 1/2"x1 1/4" black cardstock and cut a notch in the right end. Place the stencil over the cardstock with "Best Wishes" centered on it. Tape in place. Ink the open areas of the stencil words with VersaMark, then sprinkle with Sticky Embossing Powder. Tap off the excess and heat to emboss with the heat gun. Immediately use a small paintbrush to add mica powder on the embossed words. Brush away the excess mica powder. Gently use a white eraser to remove any remaining mica powder from between the letters, being careful not to disturb the letters.
  2. Mat the words on purple textured paper and ink the edges black. Foam tape on the card. Add Silver Jewel Border Dazzles. Layer the Bohemian Paper Tole embellishment together with foam tape and add as shown. Foam tape the small butterflies as shown. Use 1/4" wide purple sheer ribbon to tie a bow. Zot the bow in place as shown.
