Designer Tip: Make a card that comes in it’s own envelope!

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Trace and cut the Main Card from pink cardstock. Score as instructed and mountain fold along the score lines.
  2. Trace and cut the Pocket Front from Emma’s Garden brown floral paper. Mat on Emma’s Garden teal paper with 1/16” borders. Glue to the pocket front. Trace and cut the Flap Front from Emma’s Garden brown floral paper. Mat on Emma’s Garden teal with 1/16” borders. Glue in place. Make a 4-loop bow with pink grosgrain ribbon and tie the middle with light green metallic ribbon. Zot™ to the front.
  3. Place a brown 1¾"x1” rectangle Dazzles™ frame on Emma’s Garden teal paper. Cut close to the Dazzles™ edge. Mat on pink cardstock with 1/16” borders. Stamp “Birthday Wishes” in the center. Place a brad on each side of the frame, and foam tape to the top flap.
  4. Trace and cut a Pull-Up from pink cardstock. Score and mountain fold as indicated. Trace and cut a Pull-Up Front paper pattern from Emma’s Garden teal paper. Mat on Emma’s Garden light brown paper with 1/16” borders and glue to the top of the Pull-Up piece, near the fold. Glue the flap of the Pull-Up to the top of the Pocket, keeping the top of the Pull-Up against the fold.
  5. Place two corner Dazzles™ on the Pull-Up front. Place a 2 1/4” oval Dazzles™ on pink cardstock. Cut close to the Dazzles™ edge. Turn the Dazzles™ over and stamp “Just For You” in the center. Ink the edges. Place a 3” swirly rectangle Dazzles™ on Emma’s Garden teal paper. Cut close to the Dazzles™ edge. Mat on pink cardstock with 1/16” borders. Glue the stamped oval in the middle. Glue the matted rectangle to the Pull-Up, 1” from the fold.
  6. Fold the Pocket flaps to the inside, and glue to the inside, capturing the pull-up slider under the pocket front.
