Designer Tip: Ink the edges of the shaped die-cut pieces to make them look more 3-D.

  1. Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top. Cover with gray suede paper and ink the edges with the wedge. Ink the edges of 6”x2” light blue iridescent paper and glue ¼” from the bottom and sides.
  2. Following the manufacturer’s instructions for your machine, die cut one Tree #1 and one Tree #2 from black suede paper. Glue Tree #1 at the upper right and Tree #2 at the lower left. Die cut the tree toppers from yellow and green iridescent papers, place face down on the mouse pad and use the paper shaping tools to shape the pieces into a “cup” shape. Ink the edges black and foam tape the pieces onto the trees as shown.
  3. Die cut a swan and several wing feathers from black suede paper. Shape each from behind and foam tape in place. Die cut wing feathers from pink and lavender iridescent papers, shape from behind, ink the edges and foam tape in place as shown. Die cut a swan from white iridescent paper, snip the beak off and glue onto the black swan beak.
  4. Place “Peace,” heart and “Bliss” Dazzles™ onto 2½”x3/8” black suede paper, trim a “V” in the right end and foam tape at the lower left as shown.
