By LeNae Gerig
Designer’s Tip: Make sure to only put adhesive on the lower portion of the die-cut circles so that when the easel stands it does not stick to the card.
- Front: Cut the Midnight Silhouettes black cardstock to 5 ¾”x11 ½” and fold in half, short sides together. Place the fold at the top, open the card and fold the card top edge to the card center fold. Close the card
- Cut the pink silver border cardstock to 5 3/8”x2 3/8” and mat with white cardstock, leaving 1/16” border. Center and glue the rectangle on the bottom half of the folded card front. Place lengths of Pink Jewel Border Dazzles™ along the top of the cardstock.
- Punch out the birthday cake circle from “Let’s Celebrate!” die-cut sheet and use Ultra Clear Tape on the bottom back half only of the largest circle. Foam tape the bottom half of the pink circle and use double layers of foam tape on the bottom half of the birthday cake circle. Overlap the oval tags and foam tape them to the right side of the circles as shown. Knot a length of ¾” wide Simply Susan black dot ribbon and Zot( the knot to the tags.
- Inside: Mat a length of “Let’s Celebrate!” die-cut border with black cardstock, leaving ¼” borders and glue across the card, 5/8” from the bottom. Foam tape the oval “Congratulations!” die-cut oval to the border. Place lengths of Pink Jewel Border Dazzles™ above and below the border. To open the card, prop the bottom edge of the card front behind the border.
