Happy Birthday lilies card
By Ann Bernklau
Designer's Tip: To keep your brad legs hidden, attach the parchment to the green paper with brads first, then glue to the card. Do the same with the gold strip and the inside greeting.
- Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut the card down to 4 1/4"x5 1/4" and cover with gold paper. Cut 4"x5" of green ferns and set aside. Cut 3"x2 3/4" of Pergamano® parchment paper. Place the stencil on a foam pad. Place the parchment over the stencil and hold in place with stencil tape. Use the various sizes of embossing tips to gently emboss the parchment in the stencil areas. Remove the tape when finished.
- Ink the edges of the embossed parchment with gold StazOn® and let dry. Place the parchment on the green ferns piece, centered, 1/2" from the top. Use a craft pick to pierce through each corner of the parchment, about 1/4" from each corner. Pierce through the green ferns paper as well. Insert brads into the pierced holes to attach the parchment to the paper. Apply glue stick on the back of the green ferns paper and glue centered to the card.
- Cut 4 1/4"x3/4" gold paper and stamp "Happy Birthday" in the center. Pierce a hole in each end with a craft pick and insert brads. Glue to the card 1/2" from the bottom.
- Inside: Stamp the greeting on 3 1/2"x2 3/4" of green fern. Mat on gold paper with a 1/8" border. Pierce a hole in each corner and insert brads. Glue to the center.
