Designer’s Tip: Create a dimensional card for a special family member that features a 3-D Paper Tole border on the card front.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Front: Place the Center Step card with the fold on the top and trace the front panel pattern onto Family Ties blue house paper. Cut out and ink the edges brown. Glue to the card center. Cut a 1” wide strip of striped paper, ink edges and glue across the card, 1¼” from the top. Hold 2 lengths of Family Ties natural twine together as one and wrap around the card, tying a bow on the center of the border.
  2. Foam tape the Family Ties Paper Tole row of houses design across the card bottom and layer pieces with foam tape. Back Family Ties Scrapbooking Dazzles™ “Home is wherever…” with red cardstock, leaving 1/16” border. Glue to the top of the border as shown.
  3. Inside: Ink the edges of 3 7/8”x4¼” Family Ties blue tile paper and glue to the card center. Place Family Ties Scrapbooking Dazzles™ corner stickers on the top corners and embellish with Red Heart Jewel Dazzles™. Place a length of Dazzles™ picket fence along the bottom of the blue rectangle. Foam tape a Family Ties Paper Tole house on the left side of the fence. Cut out “Our Link To The Past…” from Family Ties Paper and mat with red cardstock, leaving 1/8” border. Ink edges and glue to the card center. Place Family Ties Scrapbooking Dazzles™ “Grandparents” above the sentiment.
