Offer 10% off if the customer buys all four items—she’ll get the supplies she wants and you get a higher ticket sale. And while she enjoys a bit of a discount, that discount isn’t going to break your bank.

For each of the cards below, you’ll need the Cardmaker’s™ Christmas Creative Pack, Cardmaker’s™ Classic Ribbons and the new Cardmaker’s™ Christmas Clear & Frosted Overlays. Add in a pack of White Cards & Envelopes and you’ve got the basics covered.

Display
Create the cards shown below, then pull off the covers of the Creative Pack and the Clear & Frosted Overlays, attach the covers to a piece of foam board with the cards and add signage that says “Holiday Cards in a Snap!” If you offer the bundle, add a sign announcing “Special Christmas Card Making Offer!”

Holiday Hugs
Traditional red and green make a perfect backdrop for this fun “holiday hugs” overlay focal. All the overlay images are attached with a simple glue stick—just apply it sparingly!

Other Supplies:

Instructions:

  • Cut a 4 1/2”x6” piece of holly paper and mat it on red poinsettias paper, leaving a 1/8” border. Glue to the card front.
  • Cut a 4 1/2”x1” strip of red poinsettias paper, mat on white and glue across the center of the card.
  • Glue “holiday hugs” overlay to white paper, then mat on green holly paper. Cut a 2” square of poinsettias paper, mat on white and trim. Center the “hugs” piece on the square and attach with foam tape. Center on strip.
  • Mat “blessings” and “joy love peace hope” borders on white paper, then glue to the card front as shown.
  • Add a red bow to the corner of the focal point. Secure one white mini brad in each corner of the card.

Merry Christmas Ornament
A quick-to-cut window makes the perfect place to show off a cute “Merry Christmas” overlay! And the fun Christmas lights border overlay is a sweet and simple way to add polish to the card.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. With the fold at the top, trim 3/4” from the bottom edge of the card front. Cover the remaining card front with red glimmer paper. Cut a 6 1/4”x3 3/4” rectangle of green words paper. Glue to the card front.
  2. Cut the Merry Christmas ornament overlay into a rectangle. Open the card flat, face up on your cutting mat. Center the overlay onto the card front. Use a pencil to draw around the outside edges onto the card, then use the ruler and knife to cut out the rectangular window.
  3. Add a gold brad to each corner of the card and a red bow to the upper left corner of the window.
  4. Attach the Merry Christmas ornament overlay to the inside of the card with a brad, making sure it’s centered in the window. Glue the Christmas lights border overlay across the bottom of the inside.

Deck the Halls
A series of coordinating overlay images decorate this “split” card. To maintain balance, Susan followed the rule of uneven numbers and grouped three overlay images on the left side and one larger image on the right side of the card.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Cut the card into a 5” square. Place the fold on the left side, then trim 3/4” from the right side of the card front.
  2. Cover the left side of the card front with blue and white textured paper. Cover the right half with blue paper.
  3. Cut a thin strip of red glimmer paper and glue it over the seam between the two papers. Ink the edges of the card.
  4. Cut a 1/2”x5” strip of red glimmer and glue it along the left edge of the card. Add black brads along the fold.
  5. Cut out the overlay pieces and glue to the card front as shown. Add a red brad at the top and bottom of the “wishing you” overlay.
  6. Tie a red bow and attach to the lower right corner of the card front.
