As a designer I get to see (and play) with tons of different papers. Some of my favorite papers are ones that I would have never found on my own, because they’re organized under themes I wouldn’t ordinarily use (like baby boy). That’s why I love Hot Off The Press’ new book of Use ‘Em for Anything Bright Papers. These papers are incredibly versatile. Because they lack a specific theme, you can use them for pages varying from a simple day at the park to a bright, colorful birthday party theme and anything in between.
Use ‘Em for Anything Bright papers really are bright! They’re colorful, cheerful and fun, perfect for scrapbooking sunny summer photos.
My favorite pattern is the yellow and green stripe. I’ve used it both horizontally and vertically for things like cards, decorated pails and pages (I told you these papers are versatile!).
Because many of these papers have shortcuts like borders, it takes very little time to create a layout. Borders are a great way to feature quick and easy titles, and all of the layers are done for you so you can focus on playing with fun embellishments like flowers, monograms and brads.
Finding coordinating embellishments for Use ‘Em for Anything Bright Papers is a snap. I love using the matching Bright Silk Flowers and Bright Brad Mix when creating my pages. Everything works together beautifully and I never have to worry if the colors will match, I know they will!
These papers are all designed in double-page spreads (which I love!), so I don’t have to worry about finding matching paper to create a coordinating layout. And at $9.99 retail, this book, containing 24 sheets of 80 lb. paper, is such a great value!
