Love the look of swirls on a page? Want to get the same effect, easily? So do your customers! Treat them to a class or demo featuring the Swirly Doodles templateits so easy to use, and the effect is fantastic. Best of all, demoing or teaching with a template is a great way to sell templates, and in this case, pens too.
Basic template instructions:
Simply position your chosen design on paper and trace with a .08 Zig Millennium, then remove the template and connect the lines. You can trace just the edges, or trace and fill in the design with a brush marker. You can also layer the swirls as shown on the template or use them individually.
Crazy for You

Paris Tip: I love the doodled look, but I cant drawwhich is why this template works for me. I can trace the swirls, or stipple with ink or chalk through the template. Even better, the template swirls look equally good on patterned paper and solid papers.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Mat two photos on cardstock and ink the edges. Print journaling and title on cardstock, leaving room to add the C with the template.
- Cut a 3 square of cardstock, then cut in half to make 2 triangles. Use the D Swirl Shape from the template to trace swirls to the triangles. Ink the edges. Add to the photos with foam tape.
- Wrap black ribbon under the photos, gluing the ends on the backside of the page. Add the small journaling block over the ribbon with foam tape and insert a brad on each side.
- Cut out the title and use the template to trace the D Swirl Shape upside down to be the c in crazy for you. Ink the edges and glue to the bottom of the page with foam tape.
- Layer a small blue flower on top of a slightly larger purple flower and insert a purple brad in the center. Add a folded piece of ribbon behind the flower and insert on the left side of the title. Trace the D Swirl Shape in the lower right corner of the page.
