Saras Surfaces™ Mini Folders make creative and functional birthday cards. Each folder comes to you white, so you can decorate it with any color and style for the lucky birthday boy or girl. Inside each folder youll find two pockets that make perfect places to tuck sweet sentiments, teabags, gift cards and more!

Covering the Surface:

  1. Sand the top of a red brad use it to attach a yellow flower in the corner of the swirls printed on the orange swirl paper. Sand the tops of two red mini brads and attach them at the ends of two swirls. Cover the front of the Mini Folder with the orange paper, placing the swirls in the top right corner. Sand the edges of the paper.
  2. Cover the inside pocket flaps with orange swirls paper and sand the edges. Assemble the folder.

Embellishing the Surface:

  1. Add the balloon brad to the happy Brad Buddy™ and Zot™ it in the bottom left corner of the front of the folder.
  2. Sand the edges of a 1 1/2"-wide strip of yellow dotted paper and glue it across the left inside pocket flap. Sand the top of a red brad and add it to the center of a yellow flower. Zot the flower in the top right corner of the left flap.
  3. Add the candle brad to the birthday Brad Buddy™ and Zot™ it centered on the right pocket flap. Computer journal to you on yellow dotted paper and sand the edges. Glue the phrase tucked under the right edge of the birthday Brad Buddy™.
  4. Computer journal two sentiments on yellow dotted paper, then crop to 2 3/4" wide and sand the edges. Mat each on orange swirls paper, trim to 1/8" and sand the edges. Tuck the sentiments into the folders pockets.

Covering the Surface:

  1. Cover the folders front surface with light blue paper, placing the printed swirls along the bottom edge. Ink the edges of the front surface.
  2. Sand the top of a brown brad and add it to the center of one of the medallions printed on the light blue paper. Use that portion of the paper to cover the left inside pocket flap, then cover the right flap with the light blue portion. Ink the edges of each flap, then assemble the folder.

Embellishing the Surface:

  1. Computer journal Happy Birthday on pink dotted paper and ink the edges. Glue in the top right corner of the folders front surface.
  2. Sand the edges of pink 2 and u monograms, then ink the edges. Knot sheer dotted ribbon around the 2 and hold in place with a sanded brown brad. Attach the monograms overlapping and centered on the folders front surface.
  3. Trace the templates Double-Petal Flower pattern onto pink dotted paper and ink the edges. Follow the instructions printed on the template to fold the flower into shape. Add a sanded pink medallion brad to the center of the flower, then Zot it to the right edge of the u monogram.
  4. Glue sheer dotted ribbon across the right inside pocket flap, trimming the ends even with the edges. Computer journal Its your day on pink dotted paper and ink the edges. Glue even with the top left edge of the ribbon. Trace the templates Lily Pad pattern onto brown texture paper and the Sweetheart Star pattern onto pink dotted paper. Sand the edges of each and follow the instructions printed on the template to fold each into shape. Layer the two with the pink flower on top and insert a sanded brown brad through all layers. Zot the layered flowers to the right end of the ribbon length.
  5. Computer journal two sentiments on pink dotted paper and ink the edges. Mat each on light blue paper, trimming one to a rectangle shape and one to a tag shape around the sentiments. Ink the edges of each. Add a sanded brown medallion brad to the top of the rectangle sentiment. Attach a folded length of sheer dotted ribbon to the top of the tag sentiment with a sanded pink brad. Tuck the sentiments into the folders pockets.
