About the Project
Technique: Easy Peasy Jewely making
Designer: Susan Cobb
Gratitude Necklace By Susan Cobb
This project is very quick and easy to make! You can add more tiny butterflies, or change the color of the ribbon as desired.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Remove 2 glass squares from the package. Cut out the 2" paper art square with the Eiffel tower, and the 2" square butterfly overlay. Align the overlay over the paper square. Add a piece of the narrow dotted Dazzle border and a tiny butterfly Dazzle to the overlay. Sandwich the aligned paper and overlay pieces between the two glass squares. Check the edges to make sure the paper and overlay do not extend outside the glass edges. If they do, trim and repeat.
- Open the frame. Hold the aligned paper, overlay, and glass pieces as one piece and place inside the frame. Close the frame and lock in place by inserting the tab through the hole in the upper right corner. Insert a ribbon and tie at desired length.
Mother & Child Key Ring By Susan Cobb
Here I added round paper art and overlay images and added them to a square metal key ring for a different look. I sealed them with Diamond glaze.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cut out the round paper mother and child paper art, and the tiny words round overlay. Use your finger to apply a thin coat of glue over the top of the paper art and the overlay and let each dry.
- Glue the paper art centered inside the square key ring, then glue the overlay over the paper art with the glue stick. Add Diamond Glaze over the top, letting it spread to the corners to cover. Let it dry overnight.
