Susan's Tip:These stickers are great for stacking, but you can also use them flat and embellish the spaces with metal mesh. I used copper mesh to back the large oval sticker, then backed the smaller sticker with brass mesh to layer at the center for contrast. I trimmed around the outside edges of the sticker with scissors.
Thinking of you By Susan Cobb
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cover the card front with green/white floral paper. Attach the large oval
sticker to copper mesh, then trim around the outside edges with scissors.
Attach the small oval to brass mesh, and the oval plus flowers shaped sticker
to brass mesh and trim the edges. Mat a 3 1/4"x4 1/4" light green
dotted rectangle on white cardstock leaving a 1/16" border. Mat on green
vellum, leaving a 3/8" border..
- Glue the large oval with copper mesh centered on the light green dotted
rectangle. Glue the small oval with brass mesh over the center of the large
oval. Add the swirl stickers to the corners of the dotted rectangle, then
add the narrow border sticker strips to the top and bottom of the vellum mat,
trimming the ends to fit. Glue the matted rectangle centered on the card front.
- Write or computer print "thinking of you" on the label, adding
brads at the ends. Foam tape the label centered on the bottom sticker border.
- Inside the card: Glue a 2 1/2"x5 1/4" floral rectangle centered
even with the right edge on the inside. Write or computer print "On your
special day" on tag and glue it to the light green dotted rectangle.
Mat on green vellum, then add a border sticker across the bottom of the vellum.
Attach the matted rectangle to the inside, overlapping the floral paper. Glue
the remaining sticker with copper mesh to the left of the tag as shown.
