Father's Day page
By Susan Cobb
Susan's Tip: I inked some of the cardstock stickers and matted others to create a page border. The little star stickers help link the shapes together, and ribbon and a crown brad ("the king") make great accents. I sanded the brads to highlight the embossing.
- Ink edges of the stickers, or mat on blue cardstock as desired. Add a ribbon tab to one sticker. Attach the words stickers along the left side of the brown/green/red/yellow/blue striped background paper. Add star stickers between the words stickers as shown.
- Mat the 5"x7" photo on dark blue cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border. Mat again on tan cardstock, leaving a 3/8" border. Cut a 1/2" wide strip of blue cardstock and glue to the left edge of the matted photo, leaving 1/4" blue showing. Glue to the right side of the background paper.
- Computer print or write journaling by hand on a tan tag and tan cardstock for a brown tab. Add ribbon to the end of the tag and glue angled beneath the photo. Add a star sticker near the tag. Add the tab to the side of the photo as shown. Sand brads and attach to the corner of the sticker and the end of the tag as shown.
