My Vacation Album By LeNae Gerig
LeNae's Tip: To adhere the overlay to the cover, hide the adhesive under items glued to the top of the overlay, such as the twill border and the die cut pieces. Use a small amount of glue stick to secure the overlay to the edges of the album.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Remove the posts and pages from the album and use the surface of the inkpad to ink the album binding. Glue the blocked plaid/tweed and brocade paper to the front cover. Turn the cover over and use the knife to trim away excess paper. Cover the back of the album with plaid paper.
- Cut the vacation overlay so that the definition fits within the tweed section. Glue a 2 3/4x2 vacation photo to the right side of the brocade section. Glue twill under the Vacation definition and a black knotted ribbon from the kit to the left end of the twill. Adhere the die cut shapes below the twill.
- Journal the vacation destination and date onto the light ivory cardstock. Cut into a strip and ink the edges black. Glue above the photo.
