Tip of the Day

Day 1: Why not give the gift of crafting time this Christmas? A “coupon” for a day of card-making, scrapbooking or jewelry-making with a crafting pal (or one who doesn’t craft—yet) makes a thoughtful gift.

LeNae's Tip: I find that using small scissors makes cutting around the Dazzles™ and the stamped letters much easier. Also, using foam tape to give dimension to the layers of the flower adds a nice finishing touch to the card.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place the card fold at the side and cover with retro flower border paper. Line the large flower Dazzle™ with light pink paper and two light green leaves. Foam tape the flower to the border on the left side of the card. Foam tape a blue flower cut-out to the center. Glue the leaves to extend from under the flower Dazzle™. Adhere two tiny flower Dazzles™ along the border.
  2. Stamp “Thanks” onto striped paper and cut out the letters. Glue to the bottom of the card front and stamp “many” above and “for everything” below. Adhere a small Dazzle™ flower to the “s”.
  3. Inside the card: Cut a 1 3/8” strip of pink and a 1/2” strip of striped paper and glue to the left inside back. Glue a “friend” cut-out and three small Dazzle™ flowers near the top of the strips, as shown.
