Summer Sweets Page
By Susan Cobb
Susan's Tip: These cardstock stickers are self-adhesive, which makes this a quick page to make. I added foam tape to the back of some of the stickers for added dimension and inked the edges for greater contrast.
- Turn the pink background paper so the pinwheels border is across the top. Mat the 4"x6" photo on yellow textured paper, leaving a 1/8" border. Mat again on lavender textured paper leaving a 1/16" border. Attach the pink candy border across the bottom of the photo mat, trimming the side edges evenly. Ink the edges and glue to the left side of the page.
- Mat the 3 1/8" square photo on lavender, leaving a 1/4" border at the top and sides, and a 1/2" border at the bottom. Mat on yellow, leaving a very thin border. Attach the "yum" border across the bottom of the photo mat, trimming the side edges evenly. Mat on green, leaving a 1/16" border. Ink the edges. Glue to the page, 1/2" from the right side and 4 1/4" from the bottom.
- Attach alphabet stickers across the bottom of the page to spell the child's name. Ink the edges of the Sweet Shop stickers and attach to the page as shown with glue or foam tape.
- Computer print journaling and the date or write by hand on yellow paper with the black pen. Trim to rectangles; ink the edges and mat on lavender. Ink the edges and glue to the page beneath the photos as shown.
