Winter Card By LeNae Gerig
LeNae's Tip: Add some contrast to the two light colored papers by adding navy blue cardstock between the papers that coordinates with the ribbon and brads.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Place the card fold at the left. Cover the card front with blue snowflake paper. Cut a 4x 5 1/2 white snowflake rectangle and mat with navy cardstock, leaving a 1/8 wide border. Glue a length of navy dot ribbon across the center, leaving excess on each end.
- Trace the Forest Glade snowflake pattern onto the back of the blue snowflake paper. Cut out and fold. Secure to the card front, over the ribbon center using a navy snowflake brad. Secure a brad above and below the folded flake.
- Write New Year! on blue snowflake paper and cut into a small tag shape. Punch and thread with floss. Hang from under the folded snowflake. Glue the white rectangle to the card center and glue the ribbon ends in place.
- Inside the card: Glue a 1 x 5 1/2 strip of light blue to the left side of the card inside back. Secure a row of 3 snowflake brads. Write Good Luck in the New Year! on a strip of light blue and glue across the top.
