Designer Tip: According to Tim Holtz, creator of Alcohol inks, using inks on candles is safe because the alcohol will dissipate when dry and no longer be flammable. As always, never leave a lit candle unattended. Use caution, the alcohol inks will rub off with effort.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Place the felt pad on the applicator and squeeze a small amount of Blending Solution onto the pad. Squeeze a drop of Terra Cotta ink onto one side of the pad and Metallic Gold onto the other side so that the inks are touching on the pad.
  2. Sponge/dab the inks onto the surface of the candle, turning the applicator in different directions as you dab. Cover entire candle and let it dry.
  3. Cut two Dazzle corner pieces and medium and small flowers from the sticker sheet. Use the paintbrush to apply alcohol inks to the stickers: denim blue to the corner pieces, bottle green to the large flower and terra cotta to the small flower. Let the alcohol ink dry before removing the stickers from the backing.
  4. Adhere the largest flower to the center front of the candle. Place a blue corner piece at the top and bottom. Adhere the small flower to the vellum and cut around the flower, very close to the sticker edge. Place a tiny square of foam tape behind the flower and adhere to the center of the green flower.
  5. Place 3 crystal stickers at the small flower center and evenly 6 more crystals around the outer edge of the large flower.
