Designer Tip: Mix and match different flock and paper colors Flock colors show best on lighter solid color papers.
- Cover the card front with lavender checked paper. Cut a 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" piece of colored squares and mat on darker green textured paper (1/16" border). Attach centered to the card front. Cut a 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of baby words and attach to the upper right corner of the colored squares. Cut a 2 5/8" square of pale blue and attach in lower right corner of the colored squares (overlapping baby words slightly). Cut a 2 3/4" square of pale green and attach in upper left corner of the colored squares. Cut a 1" x 2 3/4" strip of purple and attach between the pale green and baby words, overlapping slightly, so that right edge is in line with left edge of the pale blue. Add stitching between all the pieces and around the edges.
- Cut out word blocks for B-A-B-Y and attach vertically on the purple strip. Stamp the small elephant centered on the pale green using the glue pad and flock with Perfectly Purple. Stamp the small bear centered on the pale blue using the glue pad and flock with Cinnamon Toast.
- Inside the card: Cut a 4" x 2 1/4" colored squares rectangle and attach across the left portion of the card. Cut a 3 1/4" by 1 3/4" baby words rectangle and line up along the right edge of the colored squares. Add stitching between and as borders on the papers.
- Journal on a tag and hang from the baby words paper. Stamp a small giraffe on white cardstock using the glue pad and flock with Cinnamon Toast Fun Flock. Cut out and attach along the right edge of the tag. Stamp two buttons on white cardstock using the glue pad and flock with Perfectly Purple Fun Flock. Cut out and attach along the top of the baby words strip.
