Designer Tip: Remove the transparency before coloring in the stamped design flip over and color in the design from the back side so that you don't smudge the stamped image. To attach the transparency to the lid, apply glue stick lightly to top of the flap, then rub in with your fingertip slightly before applying the transparency.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. FRONT WINDOW: Using the Tags template, trace a 2 1/4" circle window centered on the front panel of a take-out box. Outline the window with black slick writer. With box flattened, slide cutting mat or other resistant surface behind the window and cut out using an X-acto knife. (Can also make hole at center then cut out with scissors.)
  2. Cut 2 1/2" x 3" piece of clear acetate from the transparency and fix lightly behind the window. With box still flattened and a surface in place behind the window, stamp fish and grass from Sushi Bowl stamps onto the transparency through the window. Now remove transparency, flip over and color in the back side of the design using slick writers. Re-attach the transparency inside the window.
  3. Stamp an assortment of shells onto purple, red and green Gemstone Cardstock and cut out. Attach along the lower edge of the window. Stamp sand along bottom of the box. Stamp a fishhook at top of box.
  4. BACK WINDOW: Trace a 2 1/4" circle window centered on the back panel of the take-out box. Outline the window with black slick writer. Cut out the window. Cut 2 1/2" x 3" piece of clear acetate from the transparency and fix it lightly behind the window. Stamp the Castle, grass and little fish on the transparency. Remove and color in using slick writers. Re-attach the transparency inside the window. Stamp an assortment of shells onto purple, red and green Gemstone Cardstock and cut out. Attach along the upper and lower edge of the window. Stamp sand along bottom of the panel.
  5. LEFT WINDOW: Trace a 1 1/2" circle window on the upper right portion of the left panel of the take-out box. Outline the window with black slick writer. Cut out the window. Cut 2" square of words from the top of the transparency and attach behind the window. Stamp an assortment of shells onto purple, red and green Gemstone Cardstock and cut out. Attach along one edge of the window. Stamp little fish along the bottom of the panel.
  6. RIGHT WINDOW: Trace a 1 1/2" circle window on the lower right portion of the right panel of the take-out box. Outline window with black slick writer. Cut out the window. Cut 2" square of words from the top of the transparency and attach behind the window. Stamp an assortment of shells onto purple, red and green Gemstone Cardstock and cut out. Attach along one edge of the window. Stamp little fish along the top of the panel.
  7. TOP: Stamp two sets of shells onto purple, red and green Gemstone Cardstock and cut out. Attach lined up (back to back) on the tops of the handles. With the box open, cover the front half of the top lid flap with the "Happy" section of the words transparency. Use x-acto knife to cut out the slit in the middle. Punch or pierce a hole at the right corner of top flap. Cut 1 1/4" circle of white cardstock and journal at the center. Mat at the top of a 1 1/2" circle of purple Gemstone Cardstock, outlined with black slick writer. Punch or pierce a hole at the top of the tag. Tie through the hole at the edge of the top flap using decorative embroidery thread and allow the tag to hang over side. Fill the box with tissue paper and tuck a gift into the center.
