Designer Tip: I twisted two lengths of the Memory Thread together for the hanging this ornament, for a pretty braided look.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Attach the bunny sticker to the center of the front of the star ornament. Add a small butterfly sticker to the left side of the bunny. Cut the border and piece two pieces together to fit along the bottom edges of the front of the star.
  2. Add a 5mm hot pink crystal at the center of the bunny's bow, and a 3mm crystal for the eye. Add more 3mm crystals to the border, butterfly, and along the top edges of the ornament as shown.
  3. For the top, fold 10" of Memory Thread in half, then insert loop into the hole at the top of the ornament. Thread ends through the loop and pull tight. Twist the ends of thread together, for the entire length. Insert top end into hole at top of the ornament and wrap end around the ornament top 3 or 4 times. Trim the excess.

Designer Tip: For best results, make sure the edges of the Dazzle stickers are smoothed in place before etching the glass. This ornament would be a perfect embellishment for a present, or a gift in itself. It would be lovely hanging in a window.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Remove metal top from the ornament. Attach a flower Dazzle centered on the front of the ornament, then add a small flower to each side. Clean the surface of the ornament with alcohol to remove any fingerprints. Dry with paper towel.
  2. Put on rubber gloves. Make sure Dazzles are smoothed in place. Apply thick layer of etching cream with paintbrush, over entire ornament, making sure to cover all areas. Wait 5 minutes for etching cream to work. Rinse with water, then dry with paper towel. Repeat the process again, until you have your desired etching. Now remove the Dazzles.
  3. Apply silver metal mixative to cover the gold ornament top. Let it dry, then replace on top of the ornament.
  4. Layer two crystal embellishments together and attach to the center of the large etched flower. Place black and white Memory thread together and wrap around the top of the ornament, Zotting ends in place. Tie a bow with black Memory Thread and curl the ends as shown with fingers. Zot near the top of the ornament.
