Stenciled Branch Card
By LeNae Gerig
Designer Tip: Use a black fine point pen to outline the birds and go over the stenciled branches while the stencil is still in place. Using stencil tape will keep the stencil from slipping as you stencil.
- Place the card fold on the left. Cover the card with dark burgundy paper. Ink the edges of a 4 3/4x6 1/4 rectangle of mauve floral paper and glue to the center. Glue a 1 3/4 blue cardstock torn strip to the left side of the card.
- Tear a 4 1/2 square of lime cardstock and stencil the branch rhubarb and the birds blue. Use the pen to draw over the branch stems and birds. Ink the torn edges black and glue to the top portion of the card. Adhere the Thank You Dazzle below the square.
- Inside the card: Stencil the top portion of the card inside back, outlining the branches and birds with the black pen. Tear the top edge of the remaining mauve floral paper and glue to cover the inside back under the stencil.
