Punch & Stitch Flower Card By LeNae Gerig
Designer Tip: When stitching flowers, alternate using one strand of green floss and 2 strands of purple. So the ugly side of the stitching does not show on the opposite side, glue the border along the card front edge.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Evenly space 8 punched flower stitching patterns onto a 6 1/2 long strip of pearl glimmer paper. Stitch only 7 flowers, alternating thread colors, leaving the 3rd flower from the left unstitched. Cut the strip to 1 wide and glue under the edge of the dot border paper.
- Place the card fold at the left. Cut 2 1/2 from the right edge of the card. Cover the card front with green paper with a purple dot border and flower border on the right edge.
- Place a Dazzle greeting on a pink tag cut-out, secured with a purple brad. Foam tape the rectangle over the space on the border where the flower was left unstitched.
- Inside the card: Cover the card inside back with pink textured paper. Mat a 2x5 rectangle of purple dot paper with light green paper, leaving a 1/16 wide border. Glue the rectangle to the inside back 3/8 from the right edge. Secure a large and small yellow flower to the inside back above the rectangle tag.
