Supplies:
Instructions:
- Remove the album posts and ink the entire outside and inside surface of the album brown; let dry.
- Mat a 7" square of tan patterned paper on black cardstock, trimming the mat to 1/16".
- Mat a 4"x3" photo on white cardstock, trim the mat to 1/16" and ink the edges black. Mat again on brown patterned paper, trimming the mat to 1/2". Mat a third time on black cardstock and trim to 1/16". Glue the matted photo to the top of the tan paper square.
- Attach a layered ivory and brown flower in the bottom left corner of the tan paper with a black brad. Glue the paper centered on the album's front cover.
- Use the template to trace and cut a tag out of ivory cardstock. Ink the edges of the tag brown and place it with the tab on the left. Stamp “My Friends” on the tag in black with a bracket on the right end. Dot the “i” with a brown mini brad, then glue the tag with the tab tucked under the silk flowers.
- Run brown gingham ribbon through the post holes (on the front surface of the album only), tying the tails into a bow on the front. Replace the album posts.

A tip from Susan:
While I turned this 8"x8" album into a friendship-themed photo album, mini albums are great for a huge variety of themes! Of course they make fabulous albums for family, holiday and school pictures, but it doesn't stop with photos. Mini albums also make great autograph books, artwork portfolios, recipe books and journals, too.
