Instructions:

1. Mat the photo on the top left corner of the yellow paper and cut out, trimming to a 1/16” edge. Save the remainder—it will become your background. Mat on red paper and trim to 1/4”. Mat again on brown texture paper and trim to 1/16”. Set aside.
2. Trim red paper to 5 1/8” wide. Mat only the right edge on green paper and trim to 1/16”. Mat the right edge again on brown texture paper and trim to 1/8”. Glue the brown textured edge of the mat over the left edge of the yellow background paper to cover the hole where the photo mat was cut.
3. Trim blue/black stripe paper to 3 1/8” x 12”. Mat the top edge on green paper and trim to 1/16”. Mat on brown texture paper and trim to 1/8”. Attach to the bottom of layout. Center star border on top.
4. Center matted photo in yellow portion of layout. Top with star squares attached with foam tape and “Go Team” words.
5. Use foam tape to attach the sports squares to the red border on the layout. Glue “Spirit,” “Score” and “Team” next to each square.
6. Select “Landscape” from your “Page Setup” menu in your word processing program and computer journal on the cream paper. Adhere vertically down the red portion of the layout, trimming evenly with the page edges.
