Supplies:
- Photocopy to reduce the size of the artwork, then mat the pieces on
green textured paper. Place the artwork on the message board paper and
mark with a pencil where you can cut slits in the ribbon with a craft
knife. Once you have decided where you’ll position the artwork,
use the craft knife to cut slits on the edges of the ribbons. Slide
the artwork under the slits and glue down. Add paper clips as shown.
- Cut out the printed artwork and add to the message board paper in
the same manner as the child’s artwork, cutting slits in the ribbon
and adding paper clips. Add the “my artwork” with foam tape.
- Print out “gotta have” and other journaling on the computer.
Mat on orange solid paper and add to the message board paper as shown,
cutting slits in the ribbon and adding paper clips. Cut out the alphabet
tiles to spell “art”. Add as shown with foam tape.

A Tip From Paris:
Scrapbooking your child’s artwork is a great way
to preserve this time in their life. Use an X-acto® knife along
sections of the ribbons on this French
ribbon school paper, then slide the paper clips onto the ribbon
to attach copies of the artwork. I added cut out art to embellish the
page further.
