Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cut a 3 1/2” x 12” piece of brown roses, a 4” x
12” piece of pink and a 5 1/2” x 12” piece of brown
tapestry. Tear along the left edge of each.
- Chalk the torn edge of the brown tapestry with pale pink, the torn
edge of the pink with brown and the torn edge of the brown roses with
tan. Layer them along the right side of the solid brown background paper
and glue them in place.
- Mat the photo on white, leaving a 1/16” border, and glue in
the upper left corner. Use the photo tinting pen to color alternating
roses on the head wreath in the photo.
- Computer journal your text on white, then mat on brown with a 1/16”
border. Mat again onto brown floral, tearing around the edges.
- Make a shoestring bow with the ribbon and use a Glue Dot™ to
attach it to the page just below the photo. Hang the ballerina charm
from the bow with thread.

A Tip From Susan:
Sometimes the most elegant borders are the easiest to create. I tore the
left edges of these three papers and layered them on the right side of
the brown background paper. I chalked the torn edges to tone down the
whiteness and give them a worn, aged look. The brown and pink chalks coordinate
perfectly with the brown tones of the photo and the papers, creating a
warm, soft look.
