"Merry Christmas" card
By LeNae Gerig
Designer's tip: Conserve rick rack by only gluing 1" lengths on each end of the card. The label covers the center of the card.
- Place the card fold at the top. Cover the card with brown cardstock. Glue a 6 1/8" x 43/4" rectangle of tan patterned paper, with inked edges, flush with the top of the card. Glue a 61/2" x 21/2" strip of brown poinsettia paper across the center of the card. Glue green rick rack across the center of the poinsettia paper.
- Assemble the "Merry Christmas" Papier tole with foam tape and foam tape to the center of the large burgundy/green label. Secure brads to the ends of the label. Glue the label to the center of the poinsettia border. Glue a brown bow to the top left.
- Inside: Cover the inside of the card with tan patterned paper. Cut an inverted "v" in one end of a 21/2"x 41/2" strip of poinsettia paper and glue vertically to the card center. Write a greeting on a green label and glue over the paper strip.
