Grand Kids Tray

Designer's Tip: When preparing to make the tray, first decide where you would like the embellishments to go. Next, print photos to size and place in their prospective slots. Then select papers and ribbon. This process helps things from becoming overwhelming.

Instructions:

  1. Box #1: Cut the black and white photo to fit the box size. Zot Heritage brown rick rack 1/4" from the top of the box. Glue a Heritage Garden Papier Tole "extra art" butterfly to the left side of the rick rack. Glue a Wood Surveyor Rulers inside the bottom of the box, across the bottom edge of the photo.
  2. Box #2: Glue Heritage striped paper inside the box back. Cut an Off the Wall Art Tag to 1 3/4" long and hand feed through a printer to print a list of the photo subject's names. Zot a Heritage brown dot bow to the tag.
  3. Box #3: Glue Heritage brown floral paper inside the box back. Glue a 3/8" wide strip of Heritage brown striped paper, 1/4" from the right side of the box. Mat a 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" black and white photo with rust cardstock and glue to the left of the Heritage striped border. Zot a Heritage brown gingham bow to the top right side of the photo edge.
  4. Box #4: Glue Heritage brown/red print paper to the inside box back. Glue a 1/2" wide strip of Heritage striped paper to the left side of the box. Hang the Off the Wall bird tag from an Antique Silver Square Hooks placed on the left side of the box. Open the birdcage charm and glue a tiny color photo onto the back. Trim to fit and close the cage. Tie a Heritage burgundy ribbon at the top and Zot the cage to the bottom of the tag. Mat a 2"x3 1/2" with both black and brown cardstocks, leaving 1/16 and 1/8" borders. Wrap the bottom with yellow 1/8" wide ribbon and knot ends. Glue the photo to the right side of the box.
  5. Box #5: Glue Heritage striped paper to the inside back box. Zot Heritage brown vine ribbon to the left side. Zot a knotted Heritage ivory sheer ribbon length near the top of the vine. Glue a tiny Heritage Garden Papier Tole "extra art butterfly to the vine. Mat a 3" square photo with brown and rust cardstocks, leaving 1/8 and 1/16" borders. Adhere anAntique Silver Square Hook on each side of the box bottom sides and hang 4 linked Antique Silver Mini Round Hangers.
  6. Box #6: Mat a black and white photo with rust cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border and glue to the back of the largest box. Assemble the film strip/clock Heritage Garden Papier Tole and glue to the left top edge of the box.
  7. Box #7: Cover the box back with Heritage brown/red paper. Assemble the butterfly clock Heritage Garden Papier Tole and trim 1/8" of the right edge of the clock flat and glue into the box. Zot a Heritage sheer swirl burgundy ribbon to the left side of the tole.
  8. Box #8: Glue a black and white photo to the box back.
  9. Box #9: Cover the box back with Heritage brown floral paper. Print the box title on the Off the Wall Art leaf tag and glue flush with the right side of the box. Zot a Heritage brown dot bow to the tag.
  10. Box #10: Glue a black and white photo to the box back.
  11. Glue a Wood Surveyor Rulers vertically to the right side of the box front edge. Mat a 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" black and white photo with rust cardstock, leaving a 1/8" border. Secure an Antique Silver Mini Round Hangers to the top of the photo. Tie a Heritage burgundy ribbon to the left side of the hanger. Place the round hanger on a self adhesive Antique Silver Square Hook mounted 2 1/2" from the top of the frame's left side edge. Glue a tiny Heritage Garden Papier Tole "extra art butterfly to the bottom edge of the photo. Place the frame on the Black Display Easel to display.
