Wishing you the happiest of birthdays

Designer's Tip: I love the way the Botanicals 3-D Papier Tole foil Die-Cuts add shimmer and dimension to my cards.
- Place your card with the fold at the top. Cut a 6 1/4"x4 3/4" pink dots paper and ink the edges. Cut a 1 3/4"x4 3/4" flowers and flourishes rectangle. Glue a 1/4"x4 3/4" strip of purple floral paper to the back of each edge to create a 1/8" border on each of the long sides. Glue a 1 3/4"x1/4" purple floral strip across the flowers and flourishes rectangle, 1 3/8" from the bottom. Glue the corners of the matted rectangle vertically to the pink dots rectangle, 3/8" from the left edge. Glue the pink dots rectangle centered on the card front.
- Punch out the pieces for the flowers and butterfly foil papier tole embellishment. Layer together with foam tape, closely matching the design. Place the finished embellishment on the right side of the card front. Write or computer print "Hello" on white cardstock and trim to a rectangle. Trim the corners of the left end for a tag shape. Mat on purple floral paper with 1/16" borders. Tuck the left end of the tag beneath the top portion of the papier tole embellishment and glue both in place.
- Thread a 17" length of aqua sheer ribbon beneath the flowers and flourishes rectangle and tie a bow as shown. Zot center of bow in place. Punch out the butterfly (extra art) and foam tape to the left side of the card as shown.
- Ink the edges of a 6 1/2"x3" flowers and flourishes paper and glue even with the bottom of the inside. Write or computer print "Wishing you the happiest of birthdays" on white, trim to a rectangle and mat on purple floral paper with 1/16" borders. Mat on pink dots paper with 3/8" borders and ink the edges. Glue centered to the inside, overlapping the flowers and flourishes paper. Glue or foam tape flower die-cuts (extra art) overlapping the right side of the word block as shown. Zot knotted ribbon near flowers.
