Designer's Tip: For die-cut words, I like to place the piece on scrap paper while adding glue to the back so I can get the entire piece covered without a sticky mess.
- 1) Place your card with the fold at the left. Cover the left 1" of the card front with pink/purple/blue striped paper. Cover the right 4 1/2" with green striped paper. Cut a green/blue circles strip from the remaining green striped paper and glue over the left edge of the green striped paper.
- 2) Punch out the bicycle Papier Tole die-cut pieces and layer together with small pieces of foam tape. Place on the card, 3/8" from the bottom. Die-cut "Happy Birthday", hearts, and swirl from violet suede. Position the words and outer heart on the top portion of the card and glue in place. Glue the bicycle embellishment in place.
- 3) Tie a small bow with forest green ribbon and Zot it near the bicycle basket. Foam tape the inner heart die-cut above the back wheel. Embellish the bicycle and dot the "I" in "Birthday" with Teal Jewel Dazzles.
- 4) Inside: Cut a 2 1/2"x6 1/2" green striped paper and glue to the left of the inside. Punch out the die-cut pieces for the banner embellishment and layer together with foam tape. Glue the die-cut swirl motif to the left side of the green striped paper and glue the banner embellishment centered over the right edge of the paper so the swirl motif is centered to the left side of the banner. Write or computer print "to someone very special" and trim into a rectangle. Glue centered to the banner.
