Instructions:

  1. Cut a 6 ½”x5“ Winter’s Garden Border paper with the dot border on the bottom right corner. Ink the edges.
  2. Remove the snowman snow globe from the sheet (leave excess acetate around the globe to glue to the paper). Place a clear acetate sheet over the snow globe, and trace the outline with a permanent marker. Cut out the traced shape, to use as a pattern. Place on the on the Winter’s Garden paper where the snow globe will go, and pencil trace the round part (not the base) of the snow globe. Cut out just the globe part with the X-acto™ knife.
  3. Cut two 6¼”x4¾” foam pieces. Peel the backing off one piece, and layer the two. Place behind the border paper, and trace the round window. Cut the circle away with the X-acto™ knife.
  4. Cut the base and snow globe apart. Back the base with Winter’s Garden brown paper. Use the vellum adhesive so it does not show. Foam tape the base in place on the card front. Use the clear acetate over the snow globe to trace a pattern for the snowman, his hat, and the snow hills. Use the patterns to cut a hat from Winter’s Garden brown paper, cut the snowman from Winter’s Garden beige/white paper, and cut the snow hills from Winter’s garden stripe paper. Glue in place on the back with the vellum adhesive. Color the scarf and the holly on the hat on the front of the acetate with the Spectrum Noir markers.
  5. Use Zots around the edge of the snow globe to glue the globe in place behind the border paper. Place a border Dazzles™ around the paper edge of the snow globe. Glue the border paper to the foam, placing the window over the cut out space on the foam, and making sure there is a good glue seal around the window.
  6. Turn the piece over so the snowman is on the table, and the foam is up. Place the sequins in the window. Cut a 6½”x5” Winters Garden snowflake paper, and glue behind the foam making a good seal of glue around the globe. Glue to the card front.
  7. Cut out two acetate snowflakes, and a sentiment. Cut close to the image. Glue to the card front as shown with the vellum adhesive. Place Dazzles™ on the snowflakes, and on the snow globe. Glue sequins to the large snowflakes. Zot™ a ribbon bow on the base of the snow globe.
