Designer’s Tip: After embossing the metal, apply Berry and Bluebell inks to color and highlight the embossed design.

  1. Front: Place your card with the fold at the left. Cover the card with silver snowflakes holographic paper.
  2. Place a 6”x7” piece of metal sheet inside the embossing folder, place it in the appropriate “sandwich”, and run it through your machine. Trim the embossed image into a rectangle and place on scrap paper. Apply Berry ink on the embossed metal in a circular motion, covering as much of the image and background of the metal as you can. Now take the Bluebell ink pad and press it on top of the image, coloring only the embossed areas of the design. Let dry. Foam tape the inked image onto violet suede, trimming the edges to 1/8” borders. Glue centered on the card.
  3. Emboss another piece of metal as before, but do not color it. Cut a 4”x7/8” strip from the rectangle, 1 1/2" from the bottom. Mat on violet suede with 1/16” borders. Foam tape across the colored embossed metal on the card, matching up the design as close as possible. Cut a 4”x1/4” violet suede and tape centered across the metal with clear tape. Place Tiny words & Phrases Dazzles™ on the right side of the suede as shown.
  4. Use Bodacious Blooms cutting dies and your die-cutting embossing machine to cut a 3 1/4" flower from violet suede. Cut a 1 1/2" flower from metal. Layer the suede and metal flowers together and add to the left side of the card with clear tape. Punch a 3/4" circle from remaining embossed metal, and color it with the inks as you did for the card background. Let dry. Mat the circle on violet suede with a thin border. Foam tape the circle on the metal flower as a center.
