Designer’s Tip: Consider placing a battery-operated tea light inside your lantern.
- Select 2 matching Birdie Blossoms die-cut sheets to make 1 lantern. Punch out the sections from the sheet, removing all inner frames and fold along the score lines.
- Inside of the lantern: Fold score lines on the larger sections inwards and the small narrow flaps on the edges, outwards. Tape the narrow flaps together, aligning the edges.
- Remove the die-cut squares from the bottom edge of the outside pieces of the lantern and fold the score lines. Align the tabs on the outside of the lantern and tape. Apply glue to the edges of the tabs on the inner lantern box and glue in place so that the bottom edges of both boxes are even. Let dry.
- Foam tape the foiled rectangle die-cut art inside each of the lantern windows. Foam tape foiled borders around the top edge of the outside of the lantern and place a “Lots of Love” die-cut greeting on the center of one of the borders.
