Designer’s Tip: Layering is the key to this card. Start with the base and then as you build, tuck mix media elements among the overlapping elements.
- Card Front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Trim the card to 5”x6” and cover with black cardstock. Ink the edges of 4 5/8”x5 5/8” Stationer’s Desk red rose paper and glue to the card center. Tear the left edge of the red text paper and ink the edges black. Glue down the card, ½” from the left.
- Clip “Hope” paper clip to the top of the black tag and the scissors Metal Clip to the top left. Glue the tag to the left side of the card as shown.
- Cut the “documented” red rose art from a sheet of Stationer’s Desk paper. Ink the edges and glue to the right side of the tag as shown. Cut the “Life’s Beauty is hidden in the everyday” sentiment from Stationer’s Desk paper and ink the edges. Clip the “Love” Metal Clip to the top right corner and foam tape the sentiment overlapping the black tag as shown.
- Place the “Cherish” Crochet Iron on the left side of the black tag with an Antique Red Blossom on each side as shown. Mist the card with Cherry Red Dylusions spray and let dry.
