Designer Tip: 1) Take the large die cut card and press out the half-circle and excess from the half-frame from the left side. Fold the card on the scored lines and tuck the oval edge inside the frame to interlock the ends. Now open the card. 2) Cut a 3 3/4”x6 1/2” Colorist white/black zigzag paper. Use the DG2 pen to color in the wider white zigzags on the paper. Now go over the green lines with the VersaMark pen then sprinkle with sensational sage glitter embossing powder. Tap off the excess and emboss with the heat gun. Glue the paper on the left side of the card, trimming the excess 1 1/2"x6” piece evenly from the left side. Save the excess for the inside. Cover the right side of the card with Colorist black/white dots paper. Ink all the paper edges black. 3) Press out the large oval scalloped frame die cut and set aside the large center oval to use on the inside. Ink the frame with Wisteria ink then ink the surface with VersaMark. Sprinkle with magical mauve glitter embossing powder and emboss with the heat gun. Foam tape the embossed frame die cut in place on the card front, aligned with the half-frame. 4) Press out the smaller oval die cut from the rectangle frame. Set aside the rectangle frame to use on the inside. Stamp the dragonfly image angled twice on the oval with black ink as shown. Stamp “lift your spirit” on the right side near the top. Color in the plain white spaces of each dragonfly with the DG2 pen. Use the cotton swab to color in the dots at the ends of the wings with Wisteria ink. Go over the colored areas a few at a time with the VersaMark pen then sprinkle with the same color of glitter. Tap off the excess and emboss with the heat gun. Color the edge of the oval with the DG2 pen, add glitter and emboss. Glue the decorated oval centered on the right side of the card, aligning it with the half-oval. Make sure the oval is centered in the window when closed. Use white/black dotted ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow in place on the frame as shown. 5) Inside: Glue reserved embossed zigzag paper even with the left inside fold. Ink the reserved rectangle frame with Wisteria ink and emboss as for the frame on the front. Glue centered on the card, overlapping the paper. Stamp, color, and emboss a dragonfly and outer edge of the large oval die cut as shown. Place Tiny Words & Phrases Dazzles™ “Happy Thoughts” and “Life is good” above and below the image as shown. Glue the finished oval centered on the rectangle frame.
