Designer Tip: Make a gatefold card with banners that cris-cross the front.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Card front: Score each end of the card @ 2½”. Fold to the center to make a Gatefold card. Glue a 2 3/8”x6¼” Hopscotch red graffiti paper to each side. Glue a 3/8”x6¼”brown cardstock on each fold edge.
  2. Cut a 3½”x1” Hopscotch blue dot paper. Mat on Hopscotch orange grid paper, and again on white cardstock with 1/16” border each time. Glue only to the left side centered on the card. Stamp “Love you More” in VersaMark™ ink, on brown cardstock. Stamp two small hearts in VersaMark™ as shown. Dust with gold embossing powder. Tap off the excess. Heat with the heat gun. Cut close to the image and glue to the blue dot paper, centered.
  3. Cut a 3”x7/8” Hopscotch green dot paper. Notch the right end. Mat on white cardstock with 1/16” borders. Fold a 1” length of yellow gingham ribbon in half and glue to the left side, with the fold sticking out. Glue the ribbon and pennant only to the left side centered. Stamp “Chocolate” on brown cardstock in VersaMark(. Dust with gold embossing powder, and tap off the excess. Heat with a heat gun. Cut close to the image and glue to the green dot paper, on the left.
  4. Cut a 3”x7/8” Hopscotch turquoise dot paper. Notch the left end. Mat on white cardstock with 1/16” borders. Fold a 1” length of red dot ribbon in half, and glue to the right side with the fold sticking out. Glue the pennant to the right side only, about ½” from the last one, centered. Stamp “Cake” in VersaMark™ on brown cardstock. Dust with gold embossing powder, and tap off the excess. Heat with a heat gun. Cut close to the image. Glue near the notch.
  5. Cut a 3”x7/8” Hopscotch blue dot paper. Notch the right end. Mat on white cardstock with 1/16” borders. Fold a 1” blue stitched ribbon in half and glue to the left end with the fold sticking out. Glue only to the left side, about ½” from the last pennant, centered. Stamp “Bacon” in VersaMark™ on brown cardstock. Dust with gold embossing powder, and tap off the excess. Heat with a heat gun. Cut close to the image, and glue to the pennant on the left.
  6. Cut three different color 5/8” circles from the border paper. (Or punch three 5/8” circles) Stamp one of the three foods on each circle. Dust with gold embossing powder. Tap off the excess, and heat with a heat gun. Foam tape each food circle to its matching word pennant as shown. Place a gold border Dazzles™ as shown.
