Designer’s Tip: Stamp this Poppy Heart image with glue, then add Copper Kettle Megaflakes for a beautiful finish.

  1. Front: Place your card with the fold on the left. Cover the card with Chalkboard ivory/black dots paper. Cover the top 4 1/4" of the card with Chalkboard pink/ivory tiles paper. Cover the top 3 3/8” of the card with Chalkboard teal tiles paper. Cover the top 3” of the card with pink/teal/tan flourishes paper. Ink the edges black.
  2. Use the Love & 5 Hearts cutting dies outer heart die and “Love” die with your die cutting machine to cut 1 of each image from black cardstock. Glue “Love” centered on the bottom of the card as shown. Cut a 5” length of 1/8” wide pale aqua grosgrain ribbon and glue it across the card, even with the bottom of the pink/ivory tiles paper.
  3. Place the black cardstock heart on your work surface. Squeeze some FlitterGlu onto a foam pad on the ink blending applicator. Spread out the glue evenly with a square of cardstock. Apply the glue to the surface of the Poppy Heart stamp. Stamp the glue image centered on the heart. Wash the stamp with soap and water. Add Copper Kettle Mega Flake to the glue image, making sure to cover the entire image. Tape the scrap of acetate material and place it on the Mega Flake/image. Use the bone folder to burnish the Mega Flake onto the image. Remove the acetate and tape the excess Mega Flake onto wax paper and funnel it back into the container. With a light touch, use the scoochy to polish the image in a circular motion.
  4. Foam tape the black heart with copper image centered on the card, 1/2" from the top. Use 1/4" wide pink sheer ribbon to tie a bow. Zot™ the bow on the upper right edge of the heart as shown.
