Designer Tip: Make a card with removable ornaments.
- Card front: Cut two white cards to 4¾"x6 1/4”. Place one card with the fold on your left. Cover with Christmas Cheer holly border paper, keeping the holly in the right bottom corner.
- Open your card, and place the smallest ornament cutting die on the front of your card, ¼” from the fold and 2¾" from the top. Place the largest ornament cutting die ¾" from the right edge and ¼” from the top. Die cut the windows from the front layer only and Zot™ a ribbon bow to the top of each shape. Place the “Season’s Greetings” Dazzles™ as shown. Cover the card inside with Christmas Cheer ivory flourishes paper. Place Ultra Clear Tape around the bottom and right edges and close the card, creating a pocket. Glue the back of the card centered on the front of your second card.
- Glue the back of the second card centered on a 5”x6½” red cardstock. Die cut two each of the smallest and largest ornaments from Chalkboard Cheer ivory flourishes paper. Mat one of each on red cardstock with 1/8” borders, and glue the second matching ornament centered on the back. Add Red Stickles™ to the centers as shown. Use Diamond Ice Stickles™ to cover the remainder of the ornament die-cuts, and add Gold Stickles™ to the tops. Let dry completely. Repeat for the other side and let dry. Punch a 1/16” hole in the top, and tie a 5” length of ribbon through the large ornament, and a 10” length of ribbon through the small ornament. Slide the ornaments into the card pocket so the show through the die-cut windows. Tuck the knots into the card inside.
- Card inside: Glue a 4 ½”x6” Chalkboard Cheer green dot paper centered on the inside of the second card. Cut a sentiment from the Chalkboard Cheer sentiment paper, and mat on Chalkboard Cheer red dot paper with 1/8” borders. Glue centered.
