You Make Me Smile easel card

Designer’s Tip: To make the easel card stand, prop the bottom edge of the card front behind the foam taped sentiment on the inside.



  1. Card front: Cut a 5” square of brown cardstock and 4 ¾” square of light blue patterned paper. Ink the edges of the blue paper and glue to the cardstock. Tear 3 ½”x2 ½” pink music paper and ink the edges. Glue at the top right corner.
  2. Die Cut 8 Circles and Scallops Cutting Dies 3 7/8” scalloped circle from burgundy paper and ink edges. Cut a 3 ¼” dark blue circle, ink edges and glue to the scallop circle center. Glue to the center of the paper square. Assemble the Birds & Blossoms Foil Paper Tole bird on branch using foam tape and glue to the paper square as shown. Zot™ dark pink and light pink flowers to the card as shown. Make a multiple loop bow using the dark blue Jute Twine and Zot™ under the lower right flower, as shown. Place Inside/Outside Greeting Dazzles™ “You Make Me” on the top right corner.
  3. Cut the card to 5” square and place the fold on the top. Open the card and fold the top edge to the center fold and crease. Close the card and glue the cardstock square to the bottom folded portion of the square only.
  4. Inside: Cover the card with blue paper. Ink edges of 3”x1” pink music paper and mat with brown cardstock, leaving 1/8” borders. Place Inside/Outside Greeting Dazzles™ “Smile” on the left side and Birds & Blossoms Foil Paper Tole “extra art” flowers on the right. Foam tape the rectangle 1” from the card bottom.
