Follow Up To Girlfriends Getaway 2016!

Ready for the girlfriends to arrive!

Girlfriends Getaway 2016 was AMAZING as always, and this year especially fun for me as I was able to attend and participate along with everyone else!

I came with my mom/crafting buddy, who actually took Paulette’s “Dough Art” class back when I was a mere toddler! As they say, “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” and we arrived ready to craft!

Mom and me!

I’ve never had the chance to take a class from Paulette before, and obviously I’ve been missing out. Not only were the projects amazing, but Paulette’s unique brand of “tough love” humor kept me both entertained and on task!

One of my favorite projects was this first little snowflake we created with Snowflakes Foiled Fancies™. The kit comes with everything you need to add it to a card or scrapbook page, but Mom & I opted to make matching ornaments. It was so fun embellishing these with Teal Jewel Dazzles™ stickers!

I want a Christmas tree full of these!

In between projects, names were drawn from a basket to pick winners for the door prizes—a seemingly endless table of gift bags that were each PACKED with papers, stamps, cutting dies, markers & too many other goodies to list!

Bring on gift bags!

Here we are working on what was easily the favorite project of the day—creating our own clocks! This was so fun to do and so EASY! I was a little worried when I saw the small bag of parts, but it was actually very simple to assemble and my beautiful, functioning customized clock now hangs on my wall at home!

I’d also like to mention that the first batch of clocks we used were crafted by Mike Jarvey himself! And they SOLD OUT. Nicely done, Mike!

Look at their clocks! So fun!

No one can resist the Dollar Table!

It was an amazing day, and if you weren’t able to be there, don’t worry!

We have put together a special Girlfriends Getaway 2016 Kit with DVD so you’ll be able to create all these projects & more, guided by Paulette herself!

We have also made our new Square & Round Creative Clock Kits available so you can create as many clocks as you’d like! The Clock Stencil is sold separately. I’ll definitely be picking up a couple more of these kits for Christmas gifts! And it sounds like I’d better hurry—Lori, our Personal Shopper Assistant, has already gotten eight of them. We are just a little excited about this! 😀
